2. Mr. Yang Zunli is one of the eight disciples of the late Master Li Jingzhai, a direct lineage of Xingyi Quan. Master Li Jingzhai passed on his teachings to Master Li Yingxun, who in turn passed them to Mr. Gao Yishu, Mr. Li Jingxuan, Mr. Luo Benqi, and Mr. Zhu Yunshan. 3. Master Li Jingzhai, originally from Xin'an County in Zhili Province, served as a professor through the imperial examination system and was a scholar of his time. He had a passion for martial arts and, at the age of sixty-three, became a disciple of Master Li Luoneng. He spent a long time with the great Xingyi Quan master Gu Yunshen, delving deeply into the principles of martial arts and mastering their profound truths. Even at an advanced age, his movements remained light and agile, making him one of the eight disciples of Master Li Luoneng. Based on the theory of Xingyi Quan and his practical training experiences, Master Li Jingzhai realized that martial arts and Confucianism are complementary and unified. His work fully reflects the foundation of Xingyi Quan in classical Chinese philosophy, the Five Elements, and the theory of mutual generation and control, integrating Confucian principles. Internally, it serves as a method for nurturing the body; externally, it is a way of movement; the principles of mutual generation and control form the art of offense and defense. It emphasizes the importance of both spirit and form, combining the way, body, application, and art. The theory, principles, and medical principles are interconnected, achieving a high degree of harmony between the spirit, qi, and shen with the physical body. Through the combination of mental cultivation and physical training, it aligns the body with the principles of the universe, transforming one's temperament. Ultimately, it elevates the mind, deepens the understanding of skills, and promotes longevity. As a scholar who excelled in martial arts, Master Li Jingzhai played an invaluable role in inheriting and organizing the essential principles of Li Nengran's martial arts tradition. The Six Harmonies Xingyi Quan ancient scriptures he passed down are a precious resource for studying Xingyi Quan.
