Features: Since 1994 and 1995, People's Literature realized that new, young novelists were on the horizon, and we eagerly awaited them. For this purpose, we launched the column "New Fictionists of the Month." This column was renamed "New Novels" in 2001. A group of writers born in the 1960s thus entered the public eye, followed closely by a group of writers born in the 1970s. Many of them published their early, significant works through People's Literature, and their names are now widely recognized among literary readers. This collection includes the works of twenty-five young novelists, with most of the included works originally published in these two columns.
