Features: The term "inventory" in this series of books is akin to a merchant striking the abacus at the end of the year—smiling broadly in profit and frowning deeply in loss. However, this series of books faces the "inventory" of the global economy, naturally involving gains and losses, rises and declines, and the laws of prosperity and decline. Yet, it is far from being as simple as this. The reason for its complexity lies in two aspects. First, the "inventory" of the global economy is vastly different from the scale of a single merchant, even if that merchant is extraordinarily large. The economic development levels, systems, and natural environments of different countries vary greatly, making it impossible to fully grasp them with a single abacus. The second reason for its complexity is that the "inventory" of the global economy often intertwines gains and losses—gains are mixed with losses, and losses are mixed with gains. It cannot be simply explained with the words "gain" or "loss." Even if the gains and losses of the "inventory" are clarified, it is still necessary to meticulously analyze where the gains and losses lie, with the aim of providing lessons or insights for the healthy development of the global economy in the new century. These two complexities are precisely the purpose of launching this series of books and the fundamental requirements for its writing.
