Each essay includes a brief introduction to the author's resume and major academic achievements below the title and notes the source of the essay at the end for further reference. Since the original journals of the selected essays have varying requirements for footnotes, to preserve the authors' writing style and the original form of the articles, this series does not impose uniform formatting standards on the footnotes.
