Features: Based on the author's "Practical Structural Mechanics Tutorial" (Southwest Jiaotong University Press, 1992), this book was revised and expanded with the participation of some colleagues from the Archaeology Department. It is designed to better suit the teaching needs of undergraduate majors in civil engineering at universities, while also appropriately addressing the deeper knowledge in structural mechanics required by some students preparing to pursue postgraduate studies in related fields (such as certain extensions of structural dynamics, content related to structural stability and ultimate loads, etc.). The book is divided into twelve chapters. Except for the Introduction, each chapter includes a wealth of examples and a certain number of exercises at the end to help readers gradually improve their computational skills in structural mechanics.
