Features: With the vigorous development of legal research and legal education in China, to meet the needs of legal professionals, faculty, and students of courts and law schools for studying law, our publishing house has selected and compiled the "Selected Works of Legal Essays" series. This series picks out the essence from tens of thousands of papers, categorizing and editing them into volumes. The selected essays are primarily chosen based on their academic impact, with criteria including offering unique insights into legal debates, presenting innovative perspectives on new legal issues, providing incisive analyses of existing laws, or introducing foreign legislative examples and theoretical discussions, regardless of the authors' age, region, profession, or status. To minimize potential negative influences arising from the editors' biases or vested interests, the selection process is conducted by professional editors of China Legal Publishing House, with input from multiple parties and thorough deliberation. The arrangement of essays in each selection is organized according to the relevant legal articles or textbook chapters of the specific legal fields they discuss, prioritizing thematic relevance over publication dates, and without considering the authors' names. Below each essay title, a brief introduction to the author's curriculum vitae and major academic achievements is provided, and the source of the essay is noted at the end for further reference. Since the original journals of the selected essays have varying requirements for footnotes, to preserve the authors' writing styles and maintain the original form of the articles, this series does not impose uniform formatting standards for footnotes.
