Features: Tang Lusun, whose given name was Bao, used Lusun as his courtesy name. He was born on September 10, 1908, in Beijing, moved to Taiwan in 1946, and passed away in Taiwan in 1985. He was particularly knowledgeable about traditional Beijing culture, customs, and palace secrets, earning him the title of a folklorist. Additionally, as a member of the aristocracy, he had the opportunity to enter the imperial court, personally experienced royal life, developed a taste for exquisite home-cooked delicacies, and sampled unique regional cuisines across the provinces, earning him the reputation of a gourmet. His works include Old Antiques, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, and Spicy, and Tastes of the World, among others. His output is abundant and of high quality, making him a great master of miscellaneous prose. The refined lifestyle aesthetics conveyed in his writings also serve as an exemplary model for future generations.
