Features: Since 1984, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) has been held by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Society for International Educational Exchange for non-native Japanese speakers of different nationalities and skin colors who are learning or interested in Japanese. Its influence has been growing increasingly significant internationally. With the growing economic and cultural exchanges between China and Japan, the test results have become a requirement for proving Japanese language proficiency in job applications, academic admissions, and other contexts. In particular, the certificates for passing Levels 1 and 2 of the test represent a high level of Japanese proficiency and can be considered one of the goals that every Japanese learner strives to achieve. Therefore, to meet the needs of Japanese learners and candidates preparing for the exam, this book includes 12 mock tests for Level 1, designed according to the question types and difficulty levels of past annual tests. The purpose is to help students familiarize themselves with the depth and answer strategies of Level 1 questions through completing the tests in this book, enabling them to take the actual JLPT with ease. The listening comprehension section not only includes transcripts of the recordings at the back of the book but also comes with an accompanying audio cassette. To give learners a preview of the exam atmosphere, the first test is completely arranged in the same format as past annual tests. At the end of the book, there are samples of answer sheets and answers to all the questions. It is hoped that the publication of this set of tests will provide more assistance to candidates preparing for the exam.
