Features: Under the anticipation of comic fans, Ao Youxiang's classic and renowned work—the long serial comic "The Wulong Academy"—was finally published in mainland China, allowing it to spread across a broader Chinese-speaking world. This is a great joy for both the comic industry and readers. Ao Youxiang has been swimming in the ocean of comics for 20 years. In addition to his masterpiece "The Wulong Academy," he has also released numerous beloved works such as "Pipi," "A Cat Called Bianshi," and "Happy Camp." He has won the Taiwan Excellence Comic Book Golden Tripod Award multiple times and was jointly honored with Tsai Chih-chung and Chu De-yong as the "White Gold Bestselling Writers" by Taiwan's "China Times Publishing."
The "The Wulong Academy" serial comic series marks the beginning of the "The Wulong Academy" series and is one of Ao Youxiang's most skillfully drawn works. Upon its release, it was an instant hit and became wildly popular on the island of Taiwan. The original series consisted of 55 volumes, but for the convenience of reading, we have divided it into 21 volumes, organized into three major series: "The Witty Master and Disciples" (7 volumes), "Journey Through the Martial World" (7 volumes), and "Laughing in the Ao World" (7 volumes). It tells the detailed historical background and exciting stories of the four master-disciples in the Wulong Academy, making it impossible to put down once you start reading. Here, you can learn about the origins of the little junior and the senior master, and discover the humorous anecdotes of the long-bearded and fat master teaching disciples in the Wulong Academy at Shaolin Temple. Compared to the four-panel comic series "The Wulong Academy," the serial comic series features richer character personalities, sharper human conflicts, and more intricate relationships. The storylines are interconnected yet relatively independent, each forming a complete episode—truly an indispensable classic of humor. We believe it will bring even greater reading pleasure to comic fans.
How many more untold stories are hidden in the Wulong Academy that will unfold one after another? What kind of surprising revelations will be shared with you? Let us enter Ao Youxiang's comic world, admire the masterful artistry of Master Ao, savor the unique charm of Ao-style comics, and experience the one-of-a-kind aura of Ao Youxiang.
