Features: To address the historical buildings in Longgang District as early as possible, accelerate and standardize the structural safety testing and identification of buildings, establish and improve the basic archives of historical buildings, and gradually integrate them into routine management, the Longgang District Construction Bureau, Tsinghua University, and the Shenzhen Tsinghua University Research Institute jointly established a research team. The research lasted for three years. On the basis of accumulating a certain amount of testing and identification data of historical buildings in Longgang District, and referring to the current national codes and standards for building structural testing and identification, the "Shenzhen Longgang District Existing Building Structural Safety Testing and Identification Guide" (hereinafter referred to as "the Guide") was compiled and verified in engineering. The Guide has the following characteristics: (1) Combines structural safety testing and identification into one guide, with clear and concise requirements, making it convenient for reference and use. (2) Divides structural safety testing and identification into two levels. Through level testing and identification, buildings with no safety issues or severe safety hazards are screened out (these two types of buildings account for the majority of historical buildings), and buildings with uncertain structural safety are subjected to the second level of testing and identification. The tiered testing and identification is more scientific and reasonable, saving human and financial resources, and can accelerate the handling process of historical buildings. (3) Divides historical buildings into two categories: "in use" and "vacant," treating them differently. "In use buildings" have been in use for at least two years and have undergone prolonged load effects; "vacant buildings" have not been used or have been used for less than two years, with short load effects. Higher requirements are placed on the structural safety testing and identification of vacant buildings. The main technical content of this guide includes: General Provisions; Terms; Testing and Identification Classification; Level Structural Safety Testing; Level Structural Safety Identification; Second Level Structural Safety Testing; Second Level Structural Safety Identification; Testing and Identification Reports; Formats for Testing/Identification Commissioning Documents and Testing/Identification Report Covers.
