Features: This book provides relevant knowledge for power engineering commissioning personnel in areas such as relay protection and automatic devices, high voltage, startup commissioning, and electrical measurement and testing. It can also serve as a reference book for technical personnel engaged in power-related work. The Electrical Volume of the Power Engineering Commissioning Technology Handbook is divided into two volumes: Volume 1 and Volume 2. Volume 1 includes three sub-volumes: Relay Protection and Automatic Devices, High Voltage, and Startup Commissioning. Volume 2 is the Electrical Measurement sub-volume. The Relay Protection and Automatic Devices sub-volume provides detailed introductions to the principles, inspection items, inspection methods, and signal systems, power supply systems, and secondary circuits of common components, such as generator-transformer group protection, busbar differential protection, generator excitation systems and automatic excitation regulators, automatic synchronizing devices, and fault filters. The High Voltage sub-volume mainly introduces basic electrical theory knowledge, such as fundamental knowledge of dielectric physics and electrical insulation performance; conventional experimental methods, performance, and usage of experimental instruments and equipment for general test items of electrical equipment; and test items, methods, safety measures, precautions, and standard criteria for various specific electrical equipment. The Startup Commissioning sub-volume explains the preparation of electrical commissioning plans for each stage of unit startup and commissioning, including test items, conditions to be met before testing, precautions, test procedures, and methods. The Electrical Measurement sub-volume covers basic knowledge such as error theory, as well as the working principles and calibration methods of various electrical measurement instruments, digital instruments, calibration devices, energy meters, measurement devices, and transmitters. Additionally, it includes on-site testing of current and voltage transformers, and brief introductions to common instruments and measurement equipment.
