Instructions for the Reading Comprehension Section:
1. Carefully read the problem-solving guidance for each question type to understand the principles behind the questions and potential pitfalls in the answering process. Analyze the author's strategies.
2. When doing mock exercises, pay attention to time management. According to the standard CET-4 exam time allocation, reading comprehension questions are given 35 minutes. Follow this principle and adjust your time accordingly. Reference time: 8–9 minutes per passage. If a passage in this unit is particularly long, you may extend the time by 1–2 minutes. After completing the exercises, check your answers against the reference answers and explanations.
