Features: Each book in this series contains 12 lessons (including 2 review lessons). Each lesson includes a main text, text annotations, a vocabulary list and phrase list, active vocabulary explanations, after-class exercises, grammar explanations, and grammar exercises. The main text (Text I) is a intensive reading passage used for classroom teaching, while the supplementary text (Text II) is used in conjunction with the main text. It can be explained in class based on actual needs and the course progress, or assigned as homework for students to complete, followed by in-class checks to assess their understanding of the text. The purpose is to reinforce the content of the main text, expand vocabulary and reading volume. The selection of Text II is designed to maintain a certain connection with Text I in terms of themes, genres, vocabulary, and grammatical phenomena. The grammar content of this series is determined based on the revised syllabus and the existing Russian grammar knowledge structure and actual mastery level of students before they enter university. The goal is to consolidate grammar knowledge learned in high school and expand and delve into the content that should be learned and mastered in university. The grammar topics in the book are arranged according to the syllabus requirements, including both traditional grammar and, for the first time in the, semantic grammar and textual knowledge. The explanations in the grammar section are concise and to the point, with short examples that clearly illustrate the concepts. Efforts are made to use charts and tables to systematize complex grammatical phenomena, making them easier for students to grasp. The writing process considers both the inherent principles of grammar teaching and the grammatical phenomena that appear in the texts, ensuring they are well-aligned.
