Features: In the dark night, there is no light. The lights are meant to mask the ugliness, but the ugliness does not become beautiful because of it. We cannot see the world clearly, and the world has not become better because of it. The night is a time for many to return home, and the lights provide illumination. The night is also a time for many to go out for leisure, and darkness allows everyone to relax. It is a happy time for people to gather together. Everyone has a past they cannot look back on with pride. Some are luckier, perhaps just a few failed exam papers, while others are less fortunate, possibly experiencing a romantic setback. Sometimes, the sunshine in one's personality is not innate but is torn through thick clouds by those who have been weakened in struggle, forcefully fought for. Sunshine girl Lin Jialan participates in the large-scale dance drama "Sleepless City" directed by the master of the international dance world, Liang Xiao, to experience urban nightlife. As a result, she unexpectedly discovers the dark and violent side of her personality, and her blank childhood memories also begin to slowly resurface. Meanwhile, a pair of vampires, a master and a servant, appear to secretly protect Jialan. The man she coincidentally meets—Xiao Ye—has an astonishing resemblance to the vampire Louis. On the other hand, Liang Xiao seems to have known Jialan long ago. She always intentionally or unintentionally tries to find Louis through Jialan, as if Jialan and Louis were inherently one. Everything seems shrouded in mystery.
