Features: The degree of commercialization, monetization, and marketization of China's national economy is still very low, and commercial development lacks a solid economic foundation and a relatively mature unified market. In the face of this situation, we must further recognize the status and role of the circulation industry. It is essential to deeply understand that circulation is a barometer reflecting a country's comprehensive national strength and people's living standards, and it is a booster constantly stimulating the market and promoting the continuous upgrading of demand and consumption. Over the past 20 years, China's circulation reforms have made significant breakthroughs and achieved historic accomplishments. However, in a country like China, which has a relatively weak economic foundation and underdeveloped markets, establishing a circulation system that meets the requirements of a socialist market economy is an extremely challenging task. This monograph, based on the Ministry of Commerce's Frontiers of Chinese Commercial Theory, analyzes the prominent changes and emerging issues in the commodity circulation industry over the past two years through 12 thematic discussions. The content includes: Leading Industry: The Transformation Goals of the Circulation Industry, China's Commodity Circulation Industry Development After Joining the WTO, E-commerce and the Circulation Revolution, Business Models and Their Value Assessment, Research on Business Growth, Research on Business System Innovation, Research on Franchise Chain Operations, Theoretical Research on Supply Chain Management, The Theory and Practice of Sustainable Tourism Development, Public Goods Pricing Theory, Research on Credit Consumption Issues, and Theoretical Research on Anti-Monopoly in Commodity Markets, among other commercial theories and hot topics. The features of this book are: First, "Specialized." Each chapter is a theoretical article on a specific topic, such as "Research on Business Growth," "Research on Anti-Monopoly in Commodity Markets," "Research on Retail Formats," and "Research on Franchise Chain Operations." Second, "Current." The issues studied in the book are hot topics discussed in commercial theory and practical sectors in the past two years. For example, "China's Commodity Circulation Industry Development After Joining the WTO," "E-commerce and the Circulation Revolution," "Research on Business Models and Their Value Assessment," "Research on Business System Innovation," and "Theoretical Research on Supply Chain Management." Third, it includes additional content on pricing, tourism, and information. Such as "Public Goods Pricing Theory," "The Theory and Practice of Sustainable Tourism Development," and "Research on Credit Consumption Issues." Fourth, it primarily elaborates on the author's own views and perspectives based on relevant literature. The writing team consists of middle-aged and young researchers, professors, and Ph.D. economists who are active at the forefront of commercial theory and have high academic levels in their respective fields. Notably, the preface, "Leading Industry: The Transformation Goals of the Circulation Industry," written by the renowned economist Professor Liu Guoguang, adds significant color to the book. His views have been increasingly accepted by more theoretical and practical workers.
