Kipling achieved remarkable success; he won the Nobel Prize in Literature for the United Kingdom and was also the youngest recipient of the award. Kipling loved to travel throughout his life and visited places like Egypt, Japan, the United States, and Africa. The customs and cultures of foreign lands often appeared in his works. Works like The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book are set in the jungles of India and Africa. His only long romantic novel, Kim, describes the mysterious world of Indian natives and Tibetan lamas. Additionally, all three masterpieces he published between 1890 and 1920, when his fame reached its peak, were set in India. Kipling's works, much like his personality, are full of passion and charm. He could freely employ various artistic forms, and in his stories, though he often used the first-person pronoun "I" to narrate, the personalities of the characters remained elusive. Nevertheless, Kipling's literary achievements are undeniable. The Nobel Prize in Literature judges highly praised Kipling: "This world-renowned writer's works are distinguished by their keen observation, unique imagination, grandeur, and exceptional narrative." Especially his distinctive fairy tales have inspired children with boundless imagination and enriched their childhood memories.
