Features: Fang Xiang, born in 1967 in Shantou, Guangdong Province, China, graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1988. In 1992, his works were selected to be exhibited in the Czech Republic. In 1993, his works were exhibited separately in Singapore and Canada. In 1994, he held an individual exhibition in Guangzhou and participated in the "Seoul Art Exchange Exhibition" in South Korea. In 1995, he was invited by the Royal Thai Fine Arts Academy to create a series of traditional Chinese works. That same year, he was elected as a council member of the Guangdong Fine Arts Association. In 1996, he held an individual exhibition in Hong Kong and published the art book "Thoughts of Southern China." In 1998, his works were exhibited in the United States and Singapore, and the art book "Moods of Southern China" was published. He signed an agreement with the Kwee Gallery for global representation of his artistic creations. In 1990, "Bamboo Grove by the Lake" won the Outstanding Creation Award at the Jing Shan Fine Arts Competition. In 1991, "Wealthy Fruit" won the bronze medal at the Guangdong Fine Arts Exhibition. In 1994, "Joy of the Farmhouse" won the Excellence Award at the China Creative Landscape Painting Competition. In 1997, "Hometown of the Dragon" won the Excellence Award at the Guangdong Sports Fine Arts Exhibition. In 1998, "Flower Room" won the gold medal at the first Chinese Painting Competition of Guangdong Province.
