This book was originally a research project undertaken by Hu Zhenping for Shanghai's "Nineth Five-Year Plan," with Zhang Huajin assisting in the planning, outlining the structure, and organizing the research team. The entire book was repeatedly discussed and revised, and after being reviewed and approved by the experts, we made substantial additions, modifications, and structural adjustments based on the feedback from the review and new developments, especially in light of the "Implementation for Citizen Moral Construction."
