Features: This is the third book intended for use in the second semester. The book consists of fifteen lessons, each comprising an introduction, text, vocabulary, grammar, reading passage, and glossary. Lessons 2, 10, and 15 are review lessons and do not include grammar or reading passages. Although this book is a comprehensive training, its focus is on developing reading comprehension skills, practicing various reading techniques, and improving reading speed. At the same time, it combines reading skill training with the enrichment and deepening of students' linguistic knowledge, as well as the enhancement of their oral and written expression abilities. Accordingly, the book covers various types of written discourse, enabling students to engage with texts of different genres and understand the linguistic features of each style. In terms of content, the third book's lessons focus on social life in German-speaking countries, primarily Germany, with equal emphasis on informative and literary texts. The aim is to provide rich, vivid, and practical content, with natural and standardized language, allowing students to acquire knowledge about German-speaking countries while learning the language, thereby deepening their understanding of their society and culture. Additionally, the book includes appropriately selected texts introducing China, along with practice exercises tailored to Chinese contexts, fostering students' initial awareness of cultural comparison, enhancing their interest in their own culture, and improving their ability to describe cultural aspects in language. Compared to the first and second books, the third book increases the emphasis on written expression exercises, such as retelling, rewriting, composition, and translation.
