Features: Number resources are an important component of telecommunications networks. Any operator wishing to establish an open telecommunications service network cannot achieve this without the support of number resources. Every operator must possess its own network number resources, and each service must have number resources that reflect its characteristics. Every user also needs relevant user numbers to establish communication with other users. This book discusses the nature and characteristics of number resources, the economic value of number resources, the basic principles of number allocation, telecommunication numbers and networks, telecommunication numbers and telecommunications services, as well as the promotion of telephone numbers and the compilation of long-distance area codes. This book can serve as a teaching reference for telecommunications majors in higher education institutions and as a self-study reference for telecommunications technicians. Due to the close connection of number resources with telecommunications users and their practical significance, this book can also be used as a reference for general telecommunications users.
