This series has the following characteristics:
1. Wide Range of Materials
The articles selected for this series cover various topics such as science and technology, humanities, history and geography, cultural customs, stories, language, and applied writing. They are closely tied to current social issues, use authentic and engaging language, and have a strong sense of modernity. Each book is organized into units, with 5 articles per unit. In the writing process, considering the different genres, each unit's articles have unique styles, allowing students to appreciate works of varying flavors.
2. Diverse Question Types
The exercises in this series are not limited to multiple-choice questions. With the reform of the examination system, the proportion of non-multiple-choice questions will gradually increase. Therefore, we have selected a variety of non-multiple-choice question types. These include answering questions, filling in a word based on the content of the article, etc. Different types of exercises strengthen students' problem-solving awareness, broaden their thinking approaches, and stimulate their active learning mindset.
3. Balanced Difficulty Levels
The articles are designed to combine difficulty levels, progressing from simple to more challenging, with clear distinctions between easy, medium, and advanced levels. Additionally, the difficulty is appropriately increased during the writing process, with expanded vocabulary to adapt to long-term use after curriculum changes. The difficulty of the articles is indicated by stars: ★ for simple, ★★ for more challenging, and ★★★ for advanced, which exceeds the content of current textbook versions. Through careful thought and effort, students can solve some of these questions, gaining a sense of achievement. All answers are unique.
4. Innovative Sections
[Reading Reflection] The questions are designed to mimic the reading comprehension tests of the Zhongkao (high school entrance exam) and Gaokao (university entrance exam), covering main ideas, word meaning inference, factual details, logical reasoning, and the author's perspective.
[Reading Treasure Box] Based on the grade level, this section includes proverbs, maxims, famous quotes, and humorous stories, allowing students to broaden their knowledge and improve their comprehensive abilities while enhancing their reading skills.
[Answer Key] Provides detailed explanations for the questions in the articles.
