Features: The idea behind compiling this series of readers was formed during the process of studying the important speeches of Comrade Hu Jintao and the spirit of the National Conference on Propaganda and Ideological Work. It aims to reflect Comrade Hu Jintao's clear requirements. Each question in the full set of readers revolves around an important theoretical viewpoint. Under each viewpoint, there is a "three-part" structure:
First part as "Source of the Viewpoint," which quotes a paragraph from the original text where the viewpoint appears, allowing readers to fully grasp and accurately understand the original meaning.
Second part as "Typical Examples" (or "Related Reports," "Related Links"), which tells a short story of about a thousand words or provides background material, using facts to speak,ing theory in practice, and enabling grassroots cadres and masses to perceive theory and understand the truth that scientific theory comes from practice, aligns with practice, and guides practice.
Third part as "Expert Comments," which invites renowned scholars and experts to analyze and comment on the theoretical viewpoint and typical examples, helping grassroots cadres and masses move from perceptual understanding to rational comprehension. The attempt is to enable grassroots cadres and masses to further systematically master the basic viewpoints of the Important Thought of "Three Represents" through studying this popular reader, to genuinely perceive, understand, and apply this scientific theory.
To celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Party, the "Popular Reader on Studying the Important Thought of 'Three Represents'" organized and compiled by the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China was published by Beijing Publishing House. The "Popular Reader on Studying the Important Thought of 'Three Represents'" includes three versions: "Enterprise Edition," "Rural Edition," and "Community Edition." The main readership are cadres and masses of Party members in enterprises, rural townships, and urban communities. The reader is divided into 16 parts, selecting 100 important viewpoints and listing 100 typical examples for vivid and lively interpretation and comments. The reader fully reflects the requirements of Comrade Hu Jintao's speech at the National Conference on Propaganda and Ideological Work, closely linking the ideological reality of cadres and masses with their actual production and life. It promotes the Important Thought of "Three Represents" through facts, typical cases, and language and methods familiar to the masses and enjoyable to them.
