Features: This book is a concise textbook of Chinese literature designed for non-Chinese major students, essentially a selection of major works in Chinese literature. However, in this "selection," some textual editing has been done: first, an "overview of literature" for each period has been added before the works of that period; second, necessary annotations have been provided for each work; and third, a "reading guide" has been added after each work. 3. The Editor's Notes: Provides a comprehensive yet concise explanation of the main reasons for selecting "this work" and its main evaluation.
4. The Author's Words: Statements related to this work.
5. Related Reviews: Includes classic reviews with established conclusions, reviews appreciated by the editor, and differing opinions.
6. Bibliography: Includes a list of the author's major works, important research bibliographies, and paper indexes.
