Features: With the process of global economic integration, an increasing number of individuals are in need of learning modern economic theory. A prominent feature of modern economic theory is its extensive use of mathematical reasoning, calculations, and models to elucidate its viewpoints and theories. As a result, universities across the country have successively offered the "College Mathematics" course to students majoring in economics and liberal arts. Among these, the five-volume set "Fundamentals of Economic Mathematics" published by China Renmin University Press has the largest teaching usage and its first three volumes have been designated as review materials for the national unified graduate entrance examination. This book is the teaching guide for the volume "Calculus" of that textbook series and is also a companion to the "Comprehensive Guide to Advanced Mathematics" for science and engineering majors published by Hunan Science and Technology Press. Based on the "Basic Requirements for College Mathematics Teaching" issued by the Ministry of Education and the "Advanced Mathematics" examination syllabus for postgraduate entrance, this book is organized in the order of textbook chapters, divided into nine chapters, with each chapter consisting of four parts: "Content Overview," "Typical Examples," "Problem Solutions," and "Graduate Entrance Examination Solutions." The "Content Overview" focuses on the theoretical framework of the textbook content, serving as the theoretical foundation for problem-solving and helping readers grasp the overall structure of the knowledge. The "Typical Examples" aim to summarize typical problem types and solutions, broaden problem-solving perspectives, and enhance problem-solving skills. The "Problem Solutions" provide detailed answers to all exercises in the textbook, with explanations for the choice of answers in Class B exercises (multiple-choice questions). The "Graduate Entrance Examination Solutions" include all official examination questions from 1999 to 2004 for the national unified postgraduate entrance examinations in "Advanced Mathematics III" and "Advanced Mathematics IV," allowing readers to stay updated on examination trends and improve their flexibility and comprehensive problem-solving abilities. This book is suitable for students majoring in economics and liberal arts who are studying "Calculus" and for individuals preparing for the national unified postgraduate entrance examination in "Advanced Mathematics III" and "Advanced Mathematics IV."
