Features: This exercise manual is a supplementary material for StudienwegDeutsch. It consists of three parts:
1. Part 1: Exercise Materials – Pronunciation exercises are mandatory. How to consolidate and improve students' pronunciation and intonation skills after the pronunciation stage is a long-standing issue of concern for many teachers and students. Based on years of teaching experience and the difficulties Chinese students face in learning pronunciation, the authors of StudienwegDeutsch have compiled systematic pronunciation and intonation exercises and supplementary explanations to be included as part of the main textbook in this manual (some exercises are accompanied by audio materials). It is hoped that instructors will guide students in practicing these exercises. The remaining sections mainly consist of written and reading exercises, designed to combine grammar and vocabulary from each lesson, complement learned topics and content, and provide both single-topic and comprehensive practice to reinforce and review knowledge while improving proficiency. New grammatical concepts do not appear in these exercises, but a small number of unfamiliar words without Chinese annotations are included to cultivate students' self-learning ability and teach them how to use a dictionary correctly. The use of this part of the exercises is highly flexible, as the weekly class hours vary greatly among different institutions. Teachers can select certain exercises for in-class use or assign them as written homework based on their school's specific situation.
2. Part 2: Written Materials for Listening Texts in the Student Book (Kursbuch) – These are provided for reference by both teachers and students when needed.
3. Part 3: Periodic Test Questions – These are conducted after the pronunciation stage and after Lessons 4, 8, and 12.
