Philosophical Reflection on Logic: Special Studies in the Philosophy of Logic: Special Studies in the Philosophy of Logic

Author: Hu Zehong

Publish Date: 2004-10-01
Features: This book presents research findings on topics related to the philosophy of logic. Up to Chapter 4, it primarily focuses on philosophical reflections on the holism of logic itself, while Chapters 5 to 7 delve into philosophical studies of specific issues in the development of modern logic. Additionally, I have included the article "Logic and Philosophy in the Twentieth Century" by the internationally renowned logician and philosopher G. H. von Wright as an appendix to this book, as it is closely related to the theme of this work. Reading it is very helpful for understanding the philosophy of logic. It should be said that, whether it is philosophical reflections on the holism of logic or philosophical studies of specific issues in the development of modern logic, the scope is far broader than what is covered in this book. It only selects and examines several topics within the philosophy of logic for research.
