Features: Since the promulgation and implementation of the "Administrative Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China" on May 9, 1997, it has played a significant role in strengthening administrative supervision work, ensuring smooth implementation of policies, maintaining administrative discipline, promoting integrity construction, improving administrative management, and enhancing administrative efficiency. However, as a national law, some provisions of the "Administrative Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China" are relatively general, urgently requiring clarification and refinement based on the practical needs of administrative supervision work. Therefore, with the approval of the General Office of the State Council Legal Affairs, the Supervision Department Legal Affairs Bureau began research, deliberation, and drafting of the draft "Implementation Rules for the Administrative Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China" in 1998. To support the research and drafting of the "Implementation Rules for the Administrative Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and to refer to and learn from the legislative experience of other countries and regions in the field of supervision, the Supervision Department Legal Affairs Bureau collected relevant laws and regulations on supervision from other countries and regions through various channels and translated them into Chinese, compiling the book "Selected Laws and Regulations on Supervision from Foreign Countries and Regions." Collecting, translating, and editing laws and regulations on supervision from foreign countries and regions is a meaningful foundational task. This book not only helps legislative workers draft laws and regulations related to supervision but also benefits a broad range of disciplinary inspection and supervision cadres as well as relevant experts and scholars in understanding, mastering, and researching laws and regulations on supervision from foreign countries and regions.
