Features: On December 1, 1948, the People's Bank of China was established and began issuing Renminbi. Starting from December 1, 1957, aluminum-magnesium alloy circulation metal coins were issued as subsidiary currency, totaling three denominations: 1 fen, 2 fen, and 5 fen. After 1980, copper-zinc alloy subsidiary coins were issued in denominations of 1 jiao, 2 jiao, and 5 jiao, as well as nickel-copper alloy main coins with a denomination of 1 yuan, featuring the Great Wall as the main design. On June 1, 1992, metal coins with denominations of 1 jiao, 5 jiao, and 1 yuan were issued, with (chrysanthemum), (plum blossom), and (peony) as the main designs, respectively. All of the above were ordinary coins participating in circulation. Since 1980, various metal commemorative coins have been issued in succession. These commemorative coins can be divided into two categories: one is intended for collection and gifting, does not participate in market circulation, and is generally made of precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. The face value indicated on these coins does not fully correspond to their actual value, and the face value is merely symbolic, primarily targeting overseas issuance, such as the annual Panda gold and silver coins, zodiac metal coins, etc. The other category consists of commemorative coins that can directly participate in market circulation, generally made of alloy materials such as copper-zinc alloy, nickel-copper alloy, or copper-core nickel-plated, with face values roughly matching their actual value. This category is primarily issued domestically. Since the 35th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China commemorative coin issued on October 1, 1984, all circulation commemorative coins issued to the present day belong to this category. This collector's album collects 43 rare circulation commemorative coins and 2 commemorative banknotes, integrating appreciation, collection, and gifting, making it the best commemorative treasure for coin enthusiasts.
