Features: For many, philosophy is not something that is "done," but rather pre-existing, a finished product of the pre-existing paradise. However, philosophy itself and its object are a practice, no more abstract than its object. It is a conceptual practice that should be judged according to the other practices it involves. A film theory does not "involve" film but involves the concepts it triggers, and these concepts themselves are connected to corresponding concepts in other practices. Film theory does not involve film but involves the concepts of film, which, like the film itself, are practical or existing practices. Film theory is not designed for film, yet they are the concepts of film, not a theory about film, just as time has noon and midnight. Here, we should no longer ask "What is film" but rather ask "What is philosophy." Electricity itself is a new practice of images and symbols, and philosophy should turn it into the theory of conceptual practice. Because, any certainty of technology, application (psychoanalysis, linguistics), and reflection is not enough to construct the concept of film itself.
