Features: Historically, proposals submitted by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) emerged alongside the founding of the New China and played significant roles in various periods of the Republic's revolution and construction. Now, with the development of socialist democratic political construction in our country, CPPCC proposals are increasingly receiving high attention from the Party and the government. The responsible handling units conduct serious research, processing, and implementation, ensuring that every proposal receives a reply and that feasible ones are adopted as much as possible. For those that cannot be resolved due to current conditions, thorough explanations are provided. The proposal work of the CPPCC has now entered standardized and institutionalized tracks, and handling CPPCC proposals has become an important form for the Party and government to promote democracy, broaden the scope for opinions, understand public sentiment, and gather collective wisdom. In recent years, various sectors of society have shown widespread concern for CPPCC proposals, and many CPPCC members also hope to compile and preserve the results of their participation in politics and decision-making through proposals. For this purpose, we have selected and compiled some proposals and relevant replies from the CPPCC's Ninth National Committee over these five years, compiling them into this collection.
