Features: The academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering are the highest academic titles established by the state in the fields of science and technology and engineering. They hold and academic authority. Over the entire half-century of the construction of the People's Republic, this outstanding group of scientists has achieved remarkable accomplishments that have garnered worldwide attention! For this reason, colleagues in the publishing and press industry have spared no effort over the decades, reporting and describing their patriotic spirit, national aspirations, and dedication to science. However, at the turn of the century, facing the dazzling achievements of modern technology, we deeply feel that the publishing industry still has an important task to fulfill. That is, instead of being limited to promoting the spiritual qualities of scientists, we should delve deeper to examine the thinking characteristics and intellectual power that have enabled outstanding Chinese scientists to achieve their goals and build their careers. We should allow the thinking methods—the source of the scientists' wisdom for innovation and creativity—to step out of the shadows. Thus, the idea of "Academician's Thinking," a topic proposal rooted in a new perspective, was born.
