Features: Education moves toward tomorrow through exploration, and the hopeful tomorrow relies on a kind of education worthy of it. Since tomorrow's education can be called life-oriented education, the new opportunities it brings must be embraced by a generation who commits their entire lives to it. The title of this book, "Principals and Educators," does not imply that there is an equivalence between the two. A principal is a position, a role, and is related to the livelihood of the people; an educator is a quality, a title, and a level of personal attainment, all of which are commendable. Many people can become principals, but only a few among them can reach the level of an educator. Among those who possess the qualities and conditions of an educator, although there are many who are principals, the majority are likely to be teachers engaged in the practical work of teaching and nurturing students. Of course, this does not mean that there is no relationship between principals and educators, nor does it mean that an educator can only be a teacher and not a principal. On the contrary, the reason "Principal and Educator" is linked together here is precisely to indicate a value-oriented orientation and pursuit: a principal should strive to first become an educator rather than first becoming an official. In other words, a principal should strive to possess the qualities of an educator and reach the level of their personal attainment; only by first possessing such qualities and reaching such a level can they have the possibility of becoming a good principal, a principal who truly succeeds in educational affairs. Otherwise, they may just be an ineffective principal, an mediocre principal, or even a principal who is corrupt and dishonest. In this book, the two separate issues of "Principal" and "Educator" are discussed. The author elaborates on the characteristics, functions, qualifications, and formation processes of the two roles from different perspectives, naturally also touching on the sensitive topic of how a principal can become an educator. In summary, a principal is not necessarily an educator, but a principal should strive to become an educator, and this is the fundamental purpose of this book.
