Intravascular Therapy: Teaching Manual, Volume 1 (Teaching Manual)

Publish Date: 2004-07-01
Features: This book strives to highlight the distinct characteristics of interventional radiology compared to diagnostic radiology from title to content. Considering that percutaneous procedures are therapeutic operations completed through a minimally invasive surgical approach rather than extensions of interventional radiology or radiology in general, we have decided to refer to them as percutaneous therapy. Vascular Interventions is the first volume of the two-volume set on percutaneous therapy. All case reports in the book have been edited and organized. At the beginning of each case, the patient's problem or disease and the etiology of the interventional treatment are introduced. Detailed imaging findings are then provided, accompanied by procedural and technical descriptions. The end of each case includes a review and discussion of the treatment methods used, covering various techniques, outcomes, applications, and potential complications that may arise when using specialized techniques for individual patients. This book is organized by technical procedures rather than by organ systems, and each procedure is illustrated through different cases. Therefore, readers can identify the parts of the book that interest them by reviewing the cases for each procedure.
