Features: In this issue of Comparative Studies, we focus on the Indian economy, which has frequently appeared in domestic financial and economic media. When it comes to the Indian economy, Editor-in-Chief Professor Wu Jinglian has always paid close attention. We had long wanted to organize articles on the Indian economy early in the year, but it took too long to come to fruition. The reason lies in the mixed reactions to India's recent economic performance—some praise it, while others criticize it. The former highlights India's outstanding financial sector, its banking system with minimal non-performing loans, its highly open financial market, and its pool of excellent financial talent. Its information industry not only grows rapidly but also drives economic growth. Indian companies also demonstrate strong competitive advantages in corporate governance and profitability, and it is not long before India will surpass China. Comparative Studies provides an academic platform for comparative institutional analysis. It stays at the forefront of theory, selectively introducing the experiences and lessons of other countries, the theories and practices of transition economies, and the developments in the field of comparative research. At the same time, it provides targeted introductions to the design of reform plans, policy recommendations, and commentary from domestic and international academic circles on China's economic reforms.
