Publish Date: 2004-07-01
Features: This memoir was compiled after the passing of the renowned playwright Wu Zuoguang. The book is divided into important chapters such as "My Family," "My Creative Career," "My Editing Work," and "Deep Friendship Between Teachers and Friends." In these chapters, the author provides detailed descriptions of his family life, familial bonds, and friendships. The unfair treatment he endured as a rightist and during his rural labor period is heart-wrenching to read; his interactions with leaders like Zhou Enlai and Cao Yu are even more poignant. Additionally, the inclusion of 45 old photographs in the book offers readers a fresh and vivid perspective.
