Features: With the development of human society, the world has become smaller and smaller. About 500 years ago, it took humans three years to circumnavigate the Earth for the first time; over 100 years ago, "Around the World in Eighty Days" was still just a fictional imagination. Today, as we are about to enter the 21st century, people can not only circumnavigate the Earth in a single day but also communicate with any part of the world instantly. In this shrinking "global village," international relations have become inseparable from human life, profoundly affecting the well-being and future of people living all over the world. At the same time, international relations research, which only became an independent discipline in the humanities and social sciences at the beginning of the 20th century, has never been more important than it is today. At the dawn of this new era, the Journal of International Relations sponsored by the Institute of International Relations at Nanjing University is introduced to readers. Its purpose is to provide an academic forum for communication with peers and readers, contributing to the development of international relations research in our country.
