Why does a simple meaning become less "natural" when expressed in English? This is not because we lack vocabulary, but because we are influenced by our mother tongue and tend to use "big words" to express ourselves. However, the daily vocabulary used by people in English-speaking countries is only about 2,000 to 3,000 words, and many of them don’t even recognize the "big words" that appear in TOEFL and GRE exams. The key point of this book is to express thoughts in simple language, and it combines various aspects of campus life to create familiar scenarios for students. In this way, students can apply what they have learned and create their own living contexts at any time, just like speaking Chinese, to solve practical problems in life.
