Features: Generally, learning and practicing calligraphy starts with copying classic inscriptions and models, studying the strokes and structures of the model characters to achieve consistency with the original. However, if it's just a mere comparison and copying, it may gradually become monotonous and lack interest, as if something is missing in the process. How can we make the relatively monotonous practice of copying more diverse and enriching? We have chosen to combine copying with creation, selecting model characters from classic inscriptions and compiling them into statements of exemplary moral conduct by, arranged in various forms of calligraphy works. This approach aims to learn the layout and composition of calligraphy while practicing classic inscriptions, making the process more enjoyable, more culturally enriching, and more fulfilling. This book carefully selects model characters, striving to avoid repetition of the same characters in a single work. It adopts a nine-grid format with strong black-and-white contrast, creating the best conditions for beginners to practice copying. For characters not present in the original inscriptions, we have used imitations, ensuring they align with the overall style of the original. Each statement is accompanied by a complete calligraphy work, with a focus on diverse forms. Every calligraphy work is also accompanied by a layout explanation.
