Features: As a representative work of Confucian thought, the Analects holds a very important position in the study of traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, we have adopted the complete text of the Analects. This book includes three main parts: the original text (with pinyin annotations), annotations, and translations, to facilitate children's reading, understanding, and memorization. The original text of the Analects consists of 20 chapters with over 11,000 characters. The Comprehensive Translation of the Analects, translated and annotated by Professor Xu Zhigang of Jinan University, was listed as a recommended reading by the Ministry of Education's Outline for Junior High School Chinese Teaching in January 1997. In May 2003, it was also designated as a required reading by the General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards, with a total print run of 510,000 copies.
