Chinese Construction Standard Meteorological Database

Author: Zhang Qing
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-09-01
Features: Standard meteorological data are essential for building thermal simulation, renewable energy utilization design, air conditioning load calculation, and building energy analysis. The author has been researching and developing standard meteorological data for major cities since 1999, and 57 cities have been completed so far. Standard meteorological data, together with the standard daily meteorological data and non-guaranteed meteorological data developed by the author, are collectively referred to as the China Standard Meteorological Database. The book consists of six chapters. It provides a detailed introduction to the research background, significance, and original data composition of the standard meteorological database for buildings, as well as examples of determining standard meteorological data for cooling and heating load calculations. It also discusses standard daily meteorological data and non-guaranteed meteorological data, and presents the standard daily meteorological data for January, April, July, and October in major cities, as well as temperatures and humidity at non-guaranteed rates of 2.5% and 5%. The target readers of this book include undergraduate and graduate students in civil engineering, environmental science, thermal physics, and meteorology, as well as engineering technicians, scientific researchers, and can also serve as a reference and basis for formulating standards.
