I am a cat.

Author: Liao Weitang (Photography), Yan Jun et al. (Text)

Publish Date: 2004-08-01
Features: One person, two shores and three regions, four years of time, capturing five hundred photos annually, ten authors, and countless stray or formerly stray cats that are still with us or have already passed away. Liao Weitang’s camera often focuses on urban corners, but over the years, across different regions, he found a sense of belonging to the nomadic and free spirit in cats. And his friends—Yin Lichuan, Yan Jun, Zhou Zan, Hu Xudong, Wu Ang—these active young Chinese writers also deeply love this unpredictable animal, equally documenting the playful moments they share with their feline companions.
I Belong to Cats is a "photobook" dedicated to those who care about animals around us or have a heart for them.
