Solitary Monologue of a Floating Life

Features: Editing this novel was a retrospective look at parts of my past life and stance, which I examined in detail. Some of the stories were written before I went to southern China. After I left Shenzhen, known as the immigrant city, in September 1992, I adjusted my thoughts, settled back into my old home, and faced inward, gradually writing the next five middle-length stories.
Content: My sister's girlfriend in Shenzhen, vaguely remembered him mentioning her name might be Qiao, from Subei. Her temperament exuded an elegant and pure fragrance. She came to my hometown in Hubei for the first time. Under the setting sun, her tiny high heels made crisp sounds on the blue bricks. That year was the late autumn when French leaves were falling and bees were dancing, with withered chrysanthemums covering the balcony in the backyard. Under the moonlit and frosty railing, she played a long flute, playing it gracefully, tears falling like frost. Or, in the style of half-hiding her face behind a lute, the moonlight flashed on the lute, with silver-plated plum blossoms jumping.
