Features: The UN Convention against Corruption was adopted in October 2003. It is a global legal instrument against corruption, establishing for the first time at the international level the five legal mechanisms against corruption: preventive mechanisms, criminal conviction and enforcement mechanisms, international judicial cooperation and law enforcement cooperation mechanisms, asset recovery and return mechanisms, and compliance monitoring mechanisms. It holds significant and far-reaching importance for the international fight against corruption and China's foreign cooperation in combating corruption. So far, 95 countries within our region have signed the Convention. This book includes the text of the Convention and related explanatory documents, as well as the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly that served as the main basis for drafting the Convention and some regional legal instruments against corruption.
