Features: Beginners in calligraphy must start by copying ancient steles and inscriptions, striving for strokes, structures, and styles to be as similar as possible. Once copying is mastered, the desire to create one's own works often leads to failure. The transition from copying to creation is not easy to cross, and some may spend their entire lives failing to do so or may go astray. Selecting characters from the copied steles to compile into works is an excellent method. However, the characters in the works may not all be found in the copied steles, even if they are found, they cannot be pieced together to achieve coherence in size, weight, inclination, and mutual correspondence. For this reason, we decided to invite experienced calligraphers to compile and publish a series of couplets and poetry scrolls composed of characters selected from famous steles and inscriptions throughout history, using computer image processing technology to strive for the most perfect presentation to readers. This poetry scroll selects characters from Tang Bohu's Running Script "Poem of Falling Flowers." Tang Bohu's style is steady, elegant, rich, and lustrous. This scroll was created as a response to his friend's poem about falling flowers. It is rigorous yet relaxed, strong yet graceful, making it one of his representative works. The compiler spent months carefully selecting and comparing characters from each poem, ensuring both loyalty to the original work and the use of strokes from the original stele, with no substitutions. At the same time, computer technology was appropriately applied to achieve harmony. The result is this scroll, intended for calligraphy enthusiasts to study and reference.
