Features: This book is a revised edition of Signals and Systems, published by Higher Education Press in 1981. The structure of this edition is largely the same as the previous one, still focusing on the fundamental concepts and analytical methods of deterministic signals processed through linear time-invariant systems, ranging from the time domain to the transform domain, from continuous to discrete, from input-output description to state-space description, with communication and control engineering as the primary application background, emphasizing case studies. Compared to the previous edition, the content of the entire book has been significantly updated to meet the new needs of contemporary information science and technology. The first volume consists of six chapters, including Introduction, Time-Domain Analysis of Continuous-Time Systems, Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform, Filtering, Modulation and Sampling, and Vector Space Analysis of Signals. The second volume also contains six chapters, including Time-Domain Analysis of Discrete-Time Systems, Z-Transform, Discrete Fourier Transform, Analog and Digital Filters, Feedback Systems, and State-Space Analysis. This book is a national key textbook for "Nine-Five" period general higher education, suitable as a textbook for engineering or science majors in higher education institutions studying Signals and Systems, as well as for self-study reference by scientific research and engineering technicians.
