Features: "Spy vs. Spy" (《Spyvsspy》) is one of the most influential serialized comics in MAD. From its inception, it was widely popular with readers. Known for its typical Western and European style and exaggerated plots, it gained fame in Western regions and remained enduringly popular. The story has inspired many video games, and its elements were adopted by "007" James Bond through films, spreading worldwide and becoming a symbol of popular culture at the time. The protagonists of "Spy vs. Spy" are two clever yet self-assured detectives—Black Spy and White Spy. They seem to do nothing but spend their days devising schemes and using various gadgets to cause trouble for each other, often resulting in catastrophic consequences. Yet, both are immortal, no matter how gruesome their demise in one story, they are back in the next, full of vigor, plotting revenge. The conflict between them unfolds silently. At the same time, neither represents justice nor evil; both are equally witty and cunning, with the fight often ending in draws. Occasionally, a beautiful female detective, Gray Spy, appears in the story. She is clever and specializes in teasing Black and White Spies, often outsmarting them with unexpected tricks and emerging victorious.
