Features: This paper addresses the following questions: Does music have meaning? Where is the meaning of music? What is the metaphysical manifestation of the meaning of music? Its purpose is to provide a proper theoretical positioning for human intuitive musical experience and, on this basis, to confirm: what attitude should one adopt when directly confronting musical works. To this end, the paper will discuss the real existence of musical works through sound structures, their historical existence through formal structures, and their intentional existence through meaning structures, based on theoretical issues such as sound and the concept of sound, emotion and form, meaning and intention. Correspondingly, with the meaning-intention relationship as the research focus, the paper further identifies matters and theories related to musical meaning and, by fully drawing on and utilizing existing theoretical resources, constructs a reasonable theoretical framework. Additionally, through interdisciplinary research, it aims to demonstrate the integrated direction of historical and logical unity and its corresponding intensity.
