Features: Ou Boier presents to us not the person we think we know very well, the CEO with achievements that are breathtakingly successful. In the pursuit of profit, we see a sensitive and irritable tyrant, who destroyed a company and its culture in the process of chasing short-term profits. Ou Boier's courage to expose scandals is truly inspiring. Without a doubt, General Electric is one of the most prominent and influential companies in the United States in the 20th century. In the investigation of the company, I was fortunate to receive the cooperation of hundreds of people. But unfortunately, Jack Welch himself and some other executives of the company were unwilling to be interviewed. I wanted Mr. Welch to say something personally, giving him and others involved a chance to respond to the issues and conflicts of interest involved in my book. My attitude is serious, and I have put in considerable effort. However, my request was in vain. They always directed me to General Electric's public relations department. For a responsible journalist, conducting in-depth investigations and interviews with such a department is of little use. Nevertheless, I did not give up and continued to refine the content of the book, further investigating and verifying the information through various channels. I did my best to gather relevant information and different perspectives from multiple angles. It can be said that to report on GE fairly and impartially, I have nearly exhausted all my efforts. It should be noted that among those interviewed are both staunch supporters of GE and Mr. Welch, as well as those who oppose him.
