Features: Rubens (Rieter Raul Rubenes, 1577—1640) was a Dutch painter and a representative of the Baroque art style in the 17th century. His sketches directly reflect his artistic spirit. The subjects of his sketches are diverse, and he employs the traditional techniques of Renaissance masters—using simple lines and concise light and shadow to express rich content and realistic forms.
