A quick glance reveals that every volume is a treasure trove, offering peers valuable material for appreciation, reference, and imitation. These outstanding essays come from both in-class and extracurricular activities. The reason they stand out is that the authors have developed unique and distinct personalities through their practice of frequent reading and writing. Exploring the distinctive reading and writing styles demonstrated by these students can provide profound insights into writing well. Insight one: Authenticity must be sought through reading and expressed with genuine emotion. Insight two: Pay close attention to observation and excel at distilling ideas. Insight three: Learn from others' language while developing your own. This collection offers readers much inspiration, akin to a rich mine of integrated thoughts, knowledge, life experiences, thinking skills, and language. These are the labor and wisdom crystallized by students, carefully selected and edited by teachers, and provided for broader reference in learning to write essays. It is also like organizing intimate discussions among peers, exchanging ideas on essay content and writing experiences. Thus, this collection creates conditions for students to mine and acquire together, achieving twice the result with half the effort in improving their writing skills.
This series selects winning essays from national, provincial, and municipal competitions, as well as high-stakes exams like college entrance and high school graduation tests, over the past decade from member schools of the National Middle School Research Joint Body. It also includes outstanding essays from renowned primary schools in recent years, representing the essence of these schools' excellent writing over the past decade and offering high readability. In the future, we will continue to compile other series in the "Young Writers Library" to provide more and better references for Chinese language learning in primary and secondary schools.
During the compilation process, this series received enthusiastic assistance and guidance from experts and scholars at the China Educational Society, the China Language Teaching Research Association, and the People's Education Press. It also benefited from the strong support and collaboration of leaders and members of the "Research Joint Body," as well as relevant schools. Leaders and editors from Jilin Education Press and China Children's Press also contributed to the publication of this series.
